From a Nurse’s Dream to a Trusted Livestock Brand

My name is Jaison CJ, and CJ Farms & Agritech is not just a business — it is a journey born out of challenge, passion, and determination.

In 2020, I was working as a nurse by profession and had spent five years in Kuwait. Like many others, I planned to move to a European country for a better future. I applied for my visa and waited with hope, but life had different plans. The COVID-19 pandemic struck the world, visa processing was completely halted, and suddenly I found myself without work and without a stable income.

During this uncertain time, I decided not to give up. I started a small rabbit farm at my home and launched a YouTube channel named CJ Farms to share my experiences and knowledge. Within a short period, the channel received good reach and strong support from viewers across the country. Today, our CJ Farms YouTube channel has grown to over 137,000 subscribers, along with more than 15,000 followers on Facebook, making us one of the most recognised livestock-focused communities in the region. One day, I purchased a rabbit nipple from Amazon and installed it in my farm. I made a video about it, and unexpectedly, I started receiving a large number of enquiries from viewers asking where they could buy the same product.

That moment changed everything.

I purchased just 10 rabbit nipples from a local vendor and resold them to my viewers. That simple step became my first business transaction and the foundation of CJ Farms & Agritech. From rabbit accessories, I gradually expanded into selling all types of rabbit farming equipment, and soon moved into goat, cattle, poultry, pig, and other livestock-related products.

The response was overwhelming. What started as a small home experiment slowly grew into a full-time business. I made the bold decision to cancel my overseas visa plans and dedicate myself completely to this field.

Today, CJ Farms & Agritech has grown into a structured operation with offices, warehouses, and dedicated staff managing daily operations. We currently offer 200+ quality products and serve customers across India through local markets and major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart, Toolsvilla, Snapdeal, and our own website www.cjfarms.in.
